The Honda CBR500R FOUR brings Honda’s iconic inline-four character to a new generation of middleweight riders. Its compact, responsive and refined four-cylinder engine delivers smooth, engaging performance from low revs up to 11,000 rpm, combining distinctive four-cylinder character with dedicated CBR sports styling.
At the heart of the CBR500R FOUR is a new-generation 500cc inline-four engine engineered for smooth, responsive performance. Low-friction technology, including nickel-silicon carbide cylinder plating and DLC-coated valve lifters, helps reduce weight and friction. A high-compression design and efficient downdraft intake support crisp throttle response, while the 4-into-2-into-1 exhaust delivers a distinctive four-cylinder sound.
The CBR500R FOUR features a distinctive, mass-forward silhouette with a full fairing and a premium, larger-bike presence. Machined-effect surface details add mechanical character, while sharp integrated lighting gives the motorcycle a modern appearance. A sculpted fuel tank and sharply rising rear cowl complete its purposeful sports-bike profile.
A new-generation steel diamond frame uses the engine as a structural element to create a lighter, more rigid foundation for responsive handling. The cast-aluminium swingarm is designed to provide precise load control and feedback through corners. A narrower seat rail and revised tank shape also make it easier for riders to get their feet down.
A forward-leaning riding position and race-inspired handlebars place the rider for a more connected sports-bike experience. A 41mm KYB inverted front fork and Pro-Link rear suspension balance sporty control with everyday comfort. Nissin radial-mount brakes and two-channel ABS provide confident stopping power, supporting control on a variety of rides.
Honda E-Clutch automatically manages the clutch for smooth take-offs, gear changes and stops. Its intelligent control adapts to the riding situation, allowing the rider to operate the gear lever without using the clutch lever. Manual control remains available whenever preferred, giving riders the flexibility to choose how they ride.
Throttle-by-wire electronic control supports smooth, precise responses, while riding modes let riders tailor the motorcycle to their preferences. STANDARD, SPORT and URBAN modes are joined by two USER modes, with adjustments for power, torque control and engine braking. A full-colour 5-inch TFT display offers three display styles and customisable backgrounds, while Honda RoadSync provides Bluetooth connectivity for calls, navigation, messages and music. A standard-fit USB-C socket below the meter keeps compatible devices charged.
