Letter from Mr Eccles

Dear Mr Cox,

I am sorry it has taken so long to send this email. There are reasons which I won’t go into

As you are most likely fully aware of the issues I had with my Accord Tourer (Milano Red) I won’t go through it all again.

This email is just to say a big “Thank You” to you and your excellent team at Blackpool Honda and the Paint and body shop.

It was great news to hear that the car was to be sprayed and that you had authorised it even though Honda were still not playing ball. It is a credit to how highly you value customer satisfaction and happiness, that this work was authorised.

Steve Moran in the body shop is a wonderful person with whom it is a pleasure to do business with, he is to be valued as a manager in the way he conducts himself and runs the shop. His staff are also polite and courteous even when dealing with a customer such as myself (could be seen as problematic?). The standard of finish on my car is fantastic and it is now a pleasure to wax it and drive it knowing that the paintwork is as good as the mechanics.

May I also take this opportunity in thanking your service desk manager Steve, he has been nothing but helpful in all my dealings with your company with regards to mine and my wife’s vehicles, he offers advice and sorts out any problems without a fuss making the whole experience far less of a bother.

Mr Cox, lastly I would like to thank you. We have never met but you dealt with my complaint professionally and have given me belief in the value you place in your customers, I believe you have instilled this core value in all your staff. It is not just the quality of the vehicles and servicing that keeps us coming back to your company, but the high quality of your staff and excellent customer service that make it a pleasure.
